Jensine Speed is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and native of Cleveland, OH. Upon graduation from Case Western Reserve University's Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Jensine relocated to Louisiana.  Jensine has 19 years of experience in community and medical based social work.   Jensine is a perinatal mental health survivor and established Siha in 2021 to assist birthing parents with their mental health and well-being.

 

Jensine successfully completed Postpartum Support International's Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders training.  Jensine proudly serves on the board of Conscious Moms, a Louisiana based non-profit whose focus is to create a culture of kindness for moms while providing maternal mental health awareness.  In 2023, Siha joined Baton Rouge Perinatal Collective to further address the mental health needs of birthing individuals. Additionally, Jensine is a member of Women Working with Women Empowerment (4 WE) whose focus is to uplift the lives of women personally and professionally.

 

  Jensine enjoys dancing, traveling and volunteering with her husband and three children.  Jensine believes true healing starts within oneself and that it takes a brave individual to begin their healing process.
