Professional Bio

Jensine Speed is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and native of Cleveland, OH. Upon graduation from Case Western Reserve University's Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Jensine relocated to Louisiana. Jensine has 18 years of experience in community and medical based social work. She is a skilled clinician and has provided individual and group therapy at local behavioral/mental health agencies and hospitals. Jensine has served in leadership roles at various nonprofit organizations throughout Baton Rouge.
Additionally, Jensine successfully completed Postpartum Support International's Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders training. Jensine proudly serves on the board of Conscious Moms, a Louisiana based non-profit whose focus is to create a culture of kindness for moms while providing maternal mental health awareness.
Jensine enjoys dancing, traveling and volunteering with her husband and two children. Jensine believes true healing starts within oneself and that it takes a brave individual to begin their healing process.
