Professional Bio

Jensine Speed, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud Cleveland, Ohio native. After earning her Master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, she made Louisiana home and has spent over 21 years serving families through both community and medical social work.
As a perinatal mental health survivor, Jensine turned her own healing journey into purpose. In 2021, she founded Siha to support birthing parents in caring for their mental health and emotional well-being. Two years later, she launched “Mommin’ Ain’t Easy: Tools for Maternal Mental Wellness,” a virtual series where moms can learn, laugh, and grow together through evidence-based tools and real-life conversations about motherhood.

Jensine is trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International and proudly serves as Deputy Director of Conscious Moms, a Louisiana nonprofit dedicated to building a culture of kindness for mothers and promoting maternal mental health awareness.

When she’s not serving moms and families, Jensine loves dancing, traveling, and volunteering with her husband and their three children. She deeply believes that true healing begins within—and that every step toward healing is an act of bravery and self-love.
